Upcoming Conversation: "Conversation in Movement" with Didier Fiúza Faustino

This Saturday, at 4.30 p.m., at MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, Lisbon, join Didier Fiúza Faustino and me for a “conversation in movement”. Departing from Didier Fiúza Faustino’s retrospective exhibition Exist/Resist - Works by Didier Fiúza Faustino 1995-2022 at this museum, we will take you on a journey to discuss the body as a guerrilla space: questioning limits, norms, habits, actions, and its position within a world which, as the body itself, is in constant change and revolution, between existence and resistance. The dialogue will also highlight the contemporary discourse of Faustino’s works about the issues of our time. Over the years, Faustino’s practice has anticipated the most critical problems that we are still facing today, proposing unconventional perspectives and defying the body’s status as an individual and basic unit of the collective.
