Warm Up Pre-premiere of Columbus (Arquiteturas Film Festival)

Next Friday, June 1st, at 9.00 p.m., I'll be introducing the film Columbus (directed by Kogonada) within the Arquiteturas Film Festival Warm Up. The Portuguese Pre-Premiere of the film is in partnership with Alambique Films and supported by Atelier 18:25, where the screening will take place on the rooftop (Av. 5 de Outubro, n.º 16). From the synopsis: "When a renowned architecture scholar falls suddenly ill during a speaking tour, his son Jin finds himself stranded in Columbus, Ind., a small Midwestern city celebrated for its many significant modernist buildings. Jin strikes up a friendship with Casey, a young architecture enthusiast who works at the local library. As their intimacy develops, Jin and Casey explore both the town and their own conflicted emotions."
